Paul is the Managing Director of CoStar Europe. He joined CoStar in 2007 and is responsible for developing the CoStar services in the United Kingdom and across continental Europe.
A graduate of Oxford University, he has 27 years experience in the European commercial property market, beginning his career as a chartered surveyor with Weatherall Green & Smith (BNP Paribas Real Estate) in London and Madrid. He subsequently established Brown Cooper Marples (BCM) a London-based investment brokerage firm, before helping set up and manage Propex (Property Investment Exchange) in 2001. CoStar acquired Propex in 2007, at which time Paul moved to CoStar to integrate the UK business towards providing a full suite of CoStar services.
Simon is the Director of Research and is responsible for the research operation of CoStar Europe. Simon joined CoStar in October 2003 having previously worked in the telecommunications industry and has a background in business management. More recently, Simon is a graduate of the College of Estate Management in Reading and is a member of the Society of Property Researchers (SPR).
Caterina is the Marketing Director for CoStar Europe, and has been with the company since 2007. A graduate in Marketing Communications at La Sapienza in Rome, with an MA in Political Communication, prior to joining CoStar she was a global brand manager for Reuters. Before then she worked for an online advertising agency, on the Procter & Gamble European Careers account.
Grace is the Director of Sales & Customer Service Europe. A Post Graduate in Industrial Relations she joined CoStar in 2010. Grace has 16 years' experience in the online data industry and prior to joining CoStar held senior management positions with various Blue chip companies including Financial Times Group, FTSE International, Thomson Financial Group and FactSet.
Dr. Sotiris Tsolacos is Director of European Research at Property & Portfolio Research, a CoStar group company. He works closely with investment managers, lenders, and developers to assess risk and opportunities across Europe.
Dr Tsolacos has carried out extensive research and advisory work on forecasting real estate markets and market mispricing. He is a frequent commentator on current real estate issues and he has published extensively in academic journals and industry magazines. Dr Tsolacos is a Fellow of the Euro Area Business Cycle Network, the Homer Hoyt Institute and the Quantitative and Applied Spatial Economic Research Laboratory, UCL. He is the co-author of the book Real Estate Modelling and Forecasting.
Jason Butler is the Chief Technology Officer of CoStar Europe. He is responsible for product development and technology operations. Jason has more than 15 years of technology leadership experience. Prior to joining CoStar, Jason spent 10 years in IBM’s Global Business Services group providing technology strategy and implementation services to organizations such as Hewlett Packard, Intel, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Viacom, AT&T and the U.S. Army.
Jason has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and System Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Georgia.
