M&G RE appoints director as part of European expansion plans

M&G Real Estate has appointed Antonin Prade as director of Investment Management, reporting to Matthew Stone who leads M&G Real Estate’s pan European Long Income team.

The team sources assets for M&G’s Institutional long lease funds and the long lease joint venture strategies between M&G’s Institutional Fixed Income Business and M&G Real Estate.

Based in M&G Real Estate’s Paris office, Antonin will identify new investment opportunities for the M&G European Secured Property Income Fund which launched in 2015 and is managed by Ben Jones with Peter Riley and Lee McDowell as Deputy Managers.

Antonin joins from Standard Life Investments in Paris where he was manager of the SLI European Secure Income Fund. Previously he was Head of Investments for Separate Accounts at La Francaise Greim and has also held senior positions at Colliers International, Ernst & Young Real Estate and Mercer Management Consulting.

Matthew Stone said: “Originating assets for long income investment requires extensive knowledge of real estate and deal structuring so we are delighted to welcome Antonin who brings such a wealth of knowledge of the European property markets at a time where we are looking to deploy significant capital.”

M&G Real Estate’s European offices are located in Frankfurt, Madrid, Paris and Stockholm.
