Four new restaurants for WestWorks

Greek restaurant, the Athenian, New-York style pizza restaurant Pizza Street, quick service Italian Concept Coco di Mama and American goods bakery Butterscotch have each signed deals to come to the WestWorks building at White City Place.

Renovations to WestWorks have seen the ground floor substantially remodelled so that its reception now faces directly towards the MediaWorks Building. Other internal changes include the removal of concrete on columns to expose the structure, and polished concrete floors, to give the building an industrial aesthetic.

WestWorks provides over 290,000 sq ft of dynamic office space, with a WiFi enabled co-working reception and bright, modern floors overlooking central gardens and terraces. White City Place has also achieved WiredScore Platinum certification for pre-enabled providing tenants with unprecedented opportunities and flexibility with regards to its evolving technology needs.

Four new eateries have each signed deals with developers Stanhope and landowners AIMCo and Mitsui Fudosan to come to White City Place. Greek restaurant, the Athenian, New-York style pizza restaurant Pizza Street, quick service Italian concept Coco di Mama and American goods bakery Butterscotch will occupy space in the WestWorks building, which is set to open next week.

The Athenian, a Greek restaurant launched in 2014 by two Londoners born and raised in Athens and Cyprus, will be opening their first restaurant at White City Place, having started as a small street food venture.

The Athenian will offer freshly made souvlaki prepared in a healthy, authentic way; sourcing the best produce directly from small independent producers and farmers in Greece as well as local businesses in the UK.

Efthymios Vasilakis, Founder and Director, The Athenian said: "We can't wait to bring our fresh and delicious Athenian food to White City Place. This will be our very first proper restaurant concept, with plenty of indoor seating and a brand-new menu. We’re currently working on unique new recipes, with innovative twists”

Pizza Street, London’s first fast-food New York style pizza restaurant, is opening its second restaurant in White City, having launched their inaugural restaurant in Chiswick in 2015. Customers can try a regular or x-large pie or just a slice and they also offer BBQ grilled chicken, an array of salads, craft beers and thick shakes.

Pizza Street was started by a Brit and an American living in London. Having tried a slice of pizza on almost every street corner in Manhattan and Brooklyn, they wanted to bring the best New York style pizza to West London.

Coco di Mama, London’s leading Italian grab & go, is opening a new store in October at White City Place. This will be the 18th store and the company’s second new opening for 2017.

Butterscotch Bakery, the cake and American goods bakery founded by Bea Vo, previously of Bea’s of Bloomsbury will be opening a new café in White City.
