Warrington council has bought Birchwood Park from Oaktree Capital Management for circa £200m.

Birchwood Park is home to over 150 companies across a business park comprising 123 acres that sits in an Enterprise Zone.

It occupies a regionally-significant location in the north east of the borough, at the junction of the M6 and M62 motorways.

It comprises 1.2m sq ft of leased accommodation.

The council said it will seek to maximise on opportunities throughout the business park through continued investment and asset management initiatives.

Patrizia, the current Asset Managers at Birchwood Park, will continue in its role.

The council has been represented by Knight Frank while JLL has acted for Oaktree.
