Knight Frank has recruited Chris Kelly Santander UK to join its new debt advisory team as a partner.

Knight Frank launched its debt advisory team last year with Lisa Attenborough as head of commercial debt.  Kelly will bring his banking experience and knowledge to the team whilst advising clients on structuring debt facilities across the capital stack, and to arrange finance across all the sectors including development and investment finance.

At Santander UK, Kelly was director of the structured property finance team.  He began his career at Barclays Bank, before going on to work for Allied Irish Bank, Anglo Irish Bank, and Deutsche Bank where he was vice president of commercial real estate.

Lisa Attenborough, head of commercial debt, at Knight Frank, said: “Chris’ appointment is integral to the growth and development of Knight Frank’s debt advisory team as his expertise will help to propel our new and bourgeoning service line to the next level.  Chris has an exceptional track record in finance that makes him and excellent addition and this will help to build out our structured finance capabilities as we support our clients in navigating today’s challenging debt market.”

Chris Kelly, partner at Knight Frank, said: “Joining Knight Frank’s debt advisory team provides a great opportunity to deploy my previous experience, helping drive forward this new and exciting discipline at Knight Frank.  I look forward to working alongside the Specialist and Finance teams to provide best in class service in this complex sector.”
