Capreon lands Waterstones at Aberdeen's Bon Accord

Capreon, the Noé Group real estate business, has leased a 9,939 sq ft, two level store to Waterstones in the Bon Accord Shopping Centre, Aberdeen. The store will be opening in early 2018.

The letting forms part of a wider asset management strategy to provide a new leisure anchor and critical mass of new casual dining at the centre by way of the construction of a 700 seat, seven screen cinema and 20,000 sq ft restaurant terrace. Waterstones will locate its Café W at the front of its upper mall demise to complement the existing food court and sit alongside the new restaurant terrace once complete.

Catherine Rees, Head of Property at Waterstones, said: “We are very excited to be opening in Bon Accord and hope that this move to a new venue will be complemented by the new developments in the coming years.”

Waterstones is relocating from Union Street joining stores such as John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, Next, Top Shop, Boots, Jigsaw, Hobbs and Kurt Geiger.
