King's Cross Central office plans lodged

King's Cross Central General Partners led by Argent has lodged a reserved matters application for the latest office and retail scheme at its King's Cross Central regeneration scheme.

The Coffey Architects designed plans focus on Plot Q1 within Development Zone Q fand cormprise a three-storey building for office use with flexible retail (A1) and assembly/leisure (D2) uses at ground floor, and public realm works to part Wilberforce Street, Handyside Street and York Way. 

The building at Handyside near Googles's major headquarters development comprises 30,000 sq ft of offices with floor places of circa 13,000 sq ft.

The design echos the industrial heritage of King’s Cross, and in particular the neighbouring listed buildings.
