Cygnus Estates, a joint venture between Jayne McGivern and The Sunley Group, has signed IWG’s flexible workspace provider arm SPACES to take all of the 17,400 sq ft newly refurbished Garment Building in Chiswick, West London.

The building was bought by Cygnus in 2015. The building has been transformed to provide open plan, creative warehouse style accommodation on three floorsand SPACES has signed a 12 year lease, with no breaks, on confidential terms. They are aiming to open in Q2.

Shaun Wolfe, director at Frost Meadowcroft, said:“Flexible workspace providers were among the largest takers of office space across London last year and this deal highlights there are still areas within west London where this trend will continue.”

The Garment Building is located on Fishers Lane, just off Chiswick High Road and is equidistant from Turnham Green and Chiswick Park tube stations and close to Gunnersbury over ground and underground station.

Frost Meadowcroft advised Cygnus; CBRE advised SPACES.
