It said it is embarking on a £100m expansion plan, and is seeking to acquire further mixed-use property assets in London and the South East.

Charles Thompson, Director at The Thackeray Estate, said: “We are delighted to welcome both David and Giles to The Thackeray Estate. David has a long and strong track record of delivering retail, residential and office developments and is an ideal fit with our business model who will help support us to deliver on our £100m expansion plan. Giles will also be a key member of our management team as The Thackeray Estate continues to ambitiously grow its portfolio of properties over the coming months and years.”

David Owens said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Thackeray Estate which is at a very exciting stage in its development. The Thackeray Estate has an excellent track record of regenerating difficult developments, revitalising and preserving buildings with a rich heritage and turning them into places where communities can prosper. I look forward to working with The Thackeray Estate team to support the delivery of the Company’s growth plan.”
