Trio signs for Glasgow's 133 Finnieston St

Squarestone Growth has signed three tenants at 133 Finnieston Street in Glasgow’s Finnieston area.

Serial Affinity, Prevailing Analysis and Alpha Office Furniture have all taken space at the building located in one of Glasgow's key tech occupier areas.

Serial Affinity has moved into Suite A on the second floor, which covers 2,163 sq ft. The company has signed a new five year lease and director, David Morgan saidthe building’s vibrant location with its wide range of amenities including artisan coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants was key to his decision to secure one of the last remaining suites at 133.

He said: “We are delighted with our new office which provides us with the perfect platform to expand over the next 5 years. Nowadays to attract the best candidates you need to offer more than just a great workspace, you need to be close to great amenities such as gyms and cafes and have easy access to transport links. Finnieston has it all and our staff are thrilled.”

Prevailing Analysis, which offers analysis and engineering services for renewable energy projects, and is now part of Danish company K2 Management, has taken a new five year lease for the 4th floor Suite A (3,390 sq ft).

Alpha Office Furniture has agreed to a 10 year lease of the sixth floor suite, covering 4,011 sq ft, relocating from premises in West Regent Street.

Fergus Maclennan, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, which was joint agent with Lambert Smith Hampton for landlord, Squarestone Growth Lcommented: “We are thrilled to agree three new deals at 133 over the last month taking us close to full occupancy now with 10 deals in total since Squarestone purchased the building two years ago. We now have only one suite available on the 4th floor which we have good interest in already.”

Occupiers including French Duncan Accountants, Castlight Financial, Horiba, Synopsys, Handelsbanken, Deans Healthcare and Clintec International.
