Helical has signed Coverys Managing Agent Limited to a 15,994 sq ft lease at One Creechurch Place, the prime office scheme in London’s insurance district, which is now 75% let.

Coverys Managing Agent Limited, a Lloyd’s managing agency owned by Coverys, the medical professional liability insurer, has agreed a 10-year lease on the sixth floor.

It joins Hyperion, Enstar, Dell and Travelers, who have all signed up to the 272,505 sq ft building. Just four and a half floors of the 17-storey building, or 69,674 sq ft, remains to be let.

Gerald Kaye, CEO of Helical, said: “This is another strong letting for Creechurch, secured on favorable terms, and one supporting our view that London remains the city of choice for a diverse range of occupiers.

“As with all our developments, we had a strong vision for the building; a sophisticated working environment that allows leading businesses to flourish, whilst being able to enjoy new public realm and local green spaces, in this case Mitre Square and Aldgate Square.  We are optimistic about letting the remaining space during 2018.”

Helical’s joint letting agents are Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, Ingleby Trice and Savills. Coverys was advised by Savills.
