Knight Frank has appointed Ed Kennerley as an associate in its Midlands logistics and industrial agency team.

Ashley Hudson, head of the Knight Frank Birmingham office, said: “This is an exciting time for the industrial and logistics sector in the region and Knight Frank is playing a strong part, with recent deals including the disposal of 87,716 sq ft on Burton Gateway and 90,000 sq ft on Hams Hall Distribution Park.

“We handle many of the key industrial instructions in the region, such as the 2.3 million sq ft industrial development at Prospero Ansty, Coventry, and Birmingham’s premier industrial development site at The Hub, which is home to the new Wholesale Markets.”

Kennerley, who is 27, said: “This was a great opportunity to join an ambitious team with a strong reputation in the Midlands. I am relishing the opportunity to work with the team and their clients on a range of exciting instructions in the region. ”

Kennerly joins from Cushman & Wakefield in Birmingham, where he was senior surveyor in the industrial and logistics agency, and prior to that worked at Stoke-on-Trent property agency Louis Taylor.

James Clements, head of the Logistics and Industrial division at Knight Frank’s Birmingham office, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ed to our team, and I am sure he will contribute strongly to our growth plans in the Midlands.”

Knight Frank provides a full range of commercial property services across the Midlands from its Birmingham regional headquarters.
