Lloyds Bank Commercial Real Estate has appointed two relationship directors.

Peter Clayton has joined the London and South East team, reporting into regional head Ray Ellis, with Rob Marriott joining Allan MacKenzie’s North of England team operating from Manchester. Nationally, the Private Groups division which oversees privately-owned operators, is led by Richard Heath.

Clayton leaves Santander, where he was a relationship director in its Real Estate Finance Team since 2008. He was given his first job in commercial property banking, by Ellis while he was at Bradford & Bingley, in 2005.

Rob Marriott has been with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking since 2013, working within CRE’s transaction execution team. He has operated within the North West’s property sector since 2006, including a role in the Bank’s business support team.

Richard Heath, managing director, Private Groups at Lloyds Bank Commercial Real Estate, said: “Both Peter and Rob bring bench strength to two key regional teams.

“Peter has a well-established reputation in the market and becomes our third relationship director covering the capital and wider South East. In Manchester, Rob’s experience of helping structure and execute complex transactions will bring unique insights to our clients in his new, relationship-focused role supporting our aspirations for the Northern Powerhouse.

“We’re looking forward to both Peter and Rob helping to grow our franchise in each region as we extend our support to the UK’s most experienced private property companies and their investment plans as they add value and ultimately help Britain prosper.”
